Discount Prescription Card


If you are spending more than $35.00 a month on prescriptions, you might want to think about the Silver Preferred Discount Prescription Card. It entitles the bearer to discounts ranging from 10% - 50% off your prescriptions. The annual fee for the card is just $39.95 per household.

Two ways to use your Discount Prescription Card...

  • Use any participating pharmacy - just present your card and receive a discount. The discounts range from 10% - 50% depending on the pharmacy you use, and what the prescription is. Most major pharmacies and many smaller ones participate. Call us today to find out if your pharmacy participates, or to find out the name of a pharmacy near you call 800.355.2662 ext 10 and ask for Linda.


  • Mail-Order for maintenance medications. If you are taking a certain prescription on a regular basis you may save more by using the mail-order service. Call the 800 number and an order form will be sent to you with simple instructions to mail your prescription with the order form. Prescriptions are promptly shipped anywhere in the U.S. free of charge.

Q: I have health insurance. Can I still use this card?
A:
YES! Pay less for your prescription and submit the receipt just as you have in the past. If your plan has an annual maximum it will pay for prescriptions (as most Medicare supplements do) the discount card will help extend the life of your benefits.

Q: Can people with Medicare use this card?
A:
YES! Medicare beneficiaries will especially find this card helpful as Medicare does not pay for prescriptions.

Q: How do I get the card?
A:
Simply fill out the application, and return to Medical Insurance Claims, Inc. with your check for the annual fee of $39.95.
